Nordic Night

Join us at the Museum for our new after-hours program, Nordic Nights. On the first Thursday of the month the Museum will be open until 8PM, enjoy tours, programs, kids crafts and more while the exhibitions stay open late!
The evening will include a talk and a lecture-
6pm: Alan Petersen, curator of Fine Arts at the Museum of Northern Arizona will give a talk on the Swedish landscape painter Gunnar Mauritz Widforss (1879–1934) who specialized in painting subjects from the wilderness in watercolor. Widforss may be viewed as one of the greatest artist to paint the American West.
7:30pm: Get the scoop on the New Century Theater Company’s production of the Danish play Festen. Meet artistic director Darragh Kennan and get the behind-the scene story of the play and its production.
