SUMMARY:Culture Creates Community: Rethinking Cultural Spaces
DESCRIPTION:A conversation with EastHUB and Ethnic Heritage Council’s friends and allies about creating cross-cultural spaces and collaborations.\n \nABOUT THIS EVENT: With the technology and construction boom happening in Seattle and the Eastside\, we have recently seen a great influx of people making this area their home. These include immigrants and their families from across the world and the United States. They are workers\, students\, homemakers\, and retirees who all bring with them great cultural and ethnic diversity. There is a very clear need for creating welcoming spaces that enable cross-cultural conversations and programming to bring communities together and cultivate a sense of belonging.\n \nJoin conversations with leaders\, share your own community needs\, experiences\, and visions of intercultural and intergenerational dialogue through arts and culture\, in order to better connect and amplify the voices of all ethnic groups in the Eastside and Seattle area.\n \nGUEST SPEAKERS: Otilia Baraboi\, Executive Director\, American Romanian Cultural Society and President\, Ethnic Heritag Council; Valeriy Goloborodko\, Honorary Consul for Ukraine; and Daniela Ivanova\, Artistic Director Bulgarian Cultural Center\n \nEastHUB\n \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/culture-creates-community-rethinking-cross-cultural-spaces-tickets-170200059961?utm_source=eventbrite&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=post_publish&utm_content=shortLinkNewEmail
